Samsung and EMC have detailed a strategic alliance whereby Samsung will sell EMC Clariion family storage systems in Asian markets. Samsung will first target small and medium enterprises in the Korean market, bundling storage servers into its existing server line.

 

As part of the deal, Samsung will supply components to EMC. The two companies also plan to jointly develop products, and will be exchanging engineers and researchers between their respective research centers.
